New Voices! Reading Series Sponsored by SAGindie
Each year, four IFP Week Project Forum projects are highlighted at the SAGindie Reading Series. The creative teams behind these projects choose an excerpt of their script and a cast of actors brings them to life in front of the IFP Week audience. Notable projects that have previously participated in the Reading Series include Joe Talbot’s The Last Black Man in San Francisco, Carlo Mirabella-Davis’ Swallow, and Jeremiah Zagar’s We the Animals.
This year, the four projects from the 2019 IFP Project Forum set to participate are:

After the untimely death of her brother, a high school senior grapples with her grief, college applications, and a perilous new friendship with her high school French teacher.
